"I'm so scared in case
I fall off my chair
And I'm wondering
How I'll get down the stairs
Clowns to the left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you"
That song is by Stealers Wheel, who gave us that hit .... and not much else. They were a Scottish folk rock/rock band formed in 1972, broke up in 1975, and no one really noticed at all until Quentin Tarantino used the song in his movie Reservoir Dogs. Say what you sill about Tarantino, he gives us good movie soundtracks.
At any rate, if you are worried about falling off your chair -- or your stitches falling off your knitting needle -- well, these stitch markers won't help with that, but they will keep you in place in your knitting row, regardless of where the clowns and jokers end up.
This set of 3 stitch markers each feature a silver sheep with marbled blue stone beads and glass beads. The hanging portion of the marker is 1 inch/2.5 cm below the ring.
You can use them to denote special stitches, the beginning of a row, what have you. The ring is made from hand-coiled copper wire, and the glass seed bead is glued over the joints to ensure smooth moving. Because the rings are hand-coiled and cut, your markers may be slightly wibbly-wobbly and not completely round. All stitch markers are shipped in a zipper bag in a padded envelope.
The ring will fit a US10/6mm needle.
